2026 NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Jackie, our COO, and Lisa attended the Home Helpers Home Care 2026 National Conference to represent our team and celebrate the recognition of exceptional caregivers.

It was also a proud moment for us to honor Lisa and her dedication to providing outstanding care. The event brought together caregivers and leaders from across the network to celebrate their shared commitment to service.

This year’s theme, “One Team, One Track, United in Care,” highlighted the importance of working together toward a common goal. No matter where we serve, we remain united in our mission to provide compassionate and dependable care for seniors and their families.

EXCEPTIONAL CAREGIVER

Congratulations, Lisa Ilomin!

Lisa was recognized as one of the six exceptional caregivers honored at the conference. Her dedication, compassion, and genuine care—especially her unwavering commitment to her client during the Los Angeles fires—truly exemplify excellence in serving the families and communities we support.

We are incredibly proud of you!

CARING BEYOND THE HOME

Our marketing team has been actively engaging with senior communities through visits, events, and meaningful partnerships. These connections allow us to better understand the needs of seniors and share valuable resources that support their health, safety, and independence.

ELEGANT CONNECTIONS

It was a great opportunity to share ideas, build relationships, and strengthen partnerships within the industry.

JACKIE MCMAHON

When someone needs care, it affects more than just the individual—it touches the entire family.

We often meet spouses, adult children, and loved ones who have quietly stepped into the role of caregiver. What begins as helping here and there can quickly grow into managing medications, appointments, schedules, and everyday needs. Many family caregivers are also balancing careers, raising children, and honoring other responsibilities while trying to be fully present for someone they love. Over time, that level of responsibility can become physically and emotionally overwhelming. Feeling stretched thin does not mean you are falling short—it simply means you have been carrying a great deal, often without enough support.

At Home Helpers Home Care, our role is not to replace the love and commitment families provide, but to come alongside them and help lighten the load. Even a few hours of reliable support can make a meaningful difference, allowing family members time to rest, recharge, and focus on their own well-being. We are proud to see this mission reflected in our own team, especially through caregivers like Lisa Ilomin, recently recognized as the National Home Helpers Caregiver of the Year, whose compassion and dedication truly make her feel like family to the clients she serves.

Care works best when it supports everyone involved—not just the person receiving it. Because when families feel supported, and clients feel genuinely cared for, the entire experience becomes stronger, more personal, and more sustainable for the long term.
