Nurse & Care Manager

With over 25 years of nursing experience in Home Health and Hospice, I’ve spent more than a decade in home care providing compassionate, personalized support to clients and their families. Part of my role is conducting in-home visits to assess our clients’ needs and ensure they are receiving the quality of care they deserve. During these visits, I evaluate their condition, review their care plans, and make sure our caregivers are providing the right level of support. It’s important to me that every client feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home. I also take great pride in supporting our veteran clients, ensuring they receive the respectful, dignified, and compassionate care they deserve. Outside of work, my husband and I stay active in community service through Rotary, and I love spending my free time on the golf course or making memories with my grandkids. Being part of the team at Home Helpers allows me to advocate for our clients and make sure they continue receiving the highest standard of care.

Connected by Care

Frances, our Community Liaison, recently visited Nicole Wessel from Completely Senior to discuss the importance of collaboration in hospice care.

Working together allows us to provide seniors and their families with compassionate, seamless support while strengthening our service to the community.

Building Hope Together

We’re grateful for organizations like The Midnight Mission whose work creates real change in Skid Row through housing, recovery, and workforce programs that help individuals rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. A Meaningful Visit at Laurel Heights Senior Living

Sarah, our Community Liaison, had a great visit with Ann Marie, the Marketing Director, along with the department heads at Laurel Heights Senior Living.

She brought lunch, shared plenty of laughs, and discussed how Home Helpers Home Care can support their residents transitioning home after a hospital or rehab stay.

Sarah truly enjoys building connections with others who share the same passion for caring for seniors and supporting the community.

Together in Care: Supporting Every Step Home

We loved visiting Vana, Memory Care Director at Ivy Park at Simi Valley, and connecting over ways Home Helpers Home Care can support residents returning home from rehab or hospital stays.

Sarah, our Community Liaison, brought treats and had a great discussion with Vana and their home health partners about providing seamless, compassionate care. Collaborating like this ensures seniors get the support they need every step of the way, and we truly value the partnership.

Building Bridges in Senior Support

Sarah, our Community Liaison, recently attended the Moving Seniors Forward – Trioka group meeting, connecting with other professionals and sharing how we support seniors and their families. Building strong community partnerships is key to providing compassionate, quality home care. Opportunities like this help us strengthen relationships and ensure older adults receive the support and resources they need to live safely and comfortably.

Veterans Home Care

We are honored to be a VA-approved provider and grateful for the opportunity to support our Veterans and their surviving spouses. Our compassionate caregivers provide personalized in-home care, including personal assistance, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, and respite care.
