Dr. Gunjan Arya is the Owner of Home Helpers® Home Care of Garner & Fuquay-Varina and a passionate advocate for helping older adults age safely, independently, and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), a Master’s degree in Genetics, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). Throughout her career, Dr. Arya has worked across healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences, leading complex initiatives and collaborating with healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and families.

Driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in her community, Dr. Arya opened Home Helpers® Home Care to provide families with compassionate, high-quality care and trusted support during some of life’s most challenging transitions. She is actively involved in senior care education, dementia awareness initiatives, caregiver support programs, and community outreach throughout the Triangle region.

Dr. Arya believes that exceptional care is about more than meeting physical needs. It is about preserving independence, fostering meaningful connections, and helping families find peace of mind. Her mission is to ensure every client receives the same level of care, respect, and compassion she would want for her own family.

When she is not serving clients and families, Dr. Arya enjoys volunteering in the community, mentoring future leaders, and advocating for better awareness of aging, caregiving, and long-term care planning.

Hello! My name is Chioma, and I am a compassionate healthcare professional with over five years of hands-on patient care experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I am currently pursuing my Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and hold a Master of Science in Population Health Sciences from Duke University School of Medicine, as well as a bachelor’s degree in biology from Temple University.

Throughout my healthcare career, I have provided direct care to a diverse range of patients, including older adults, individuals with physical disabilities, patients recovering from illness or surgery, and those living with cognitive conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. My experience includes assisting with activities of daily living, mobility support, personal care, vital signs monitoring, companionship, safety supervision, and helping patients maintain their dignity and independence.

In addition to my clinical experience, my graduate education in public health and population health sciences has given me a deeper understanding of health, wellness, disease prevention, and the importance of delivering patient-centered care. I am committed to treating every individual with kindness, respect, patience, and professionalism.

Families often describe me as dependable, attentive, and caring. Whether providing companionship, assisting with daily care needs, or supporting a loved one’s overall well-being, I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for those I serve.

I am a compassionate and dependable caregiver with over five years of experience providing quality care and support to individuals in their homes. I have experience caring for seniors, including couples, and understand the importance of helping each client maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort while receiving personalized care.

My background includes assisting with activities of daily living, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, transportation to appointments, and providing emotional support. I enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients and their families by creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment.

In addition to my caregiving experience, I have a strong background in patient services and am currently furthering my education in sterile processing. My healthcare knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills allow me to provide dependable, high-quality care while adapting to each client’s unique needs.
