    With a diverse background in finance, entrepreneurship, and operations, Betsy Milne brings a wealth of experience to her role as Owner. Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer and Finance Manager of Home Helpers of San Mateo, she has demonstrated a keen ability to oversee daily operations, foster strategic partnerships, and ensure financial stability. Her commitment to our senior community was borne out of her firsthand experience as a family caregiver. She has a passion for helping families navigate the complexities and nuances of in-home care for their loved ones.
    Prior to joining Home Helpers, Betsy co-founded Milne Media Inc., where she empowered female entrepreneurs through initiatives like ‘The Luscious Hustle Podcast’ and tailored online courses. Her leadership in expanding a vibrant community of over 750,000 podcast downloads and 22,000 email subscribers underscores their commitment to innovation and empowerment. With a passion for guiding families through the Home Helpers Client Journey, Betsy continues to lead with integrity, compassion, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Founded in 2012 by the dynamic duo Peggy Milne and Mitch Williams, the agency has flourished under their leadership, earning accolades and trust from clients and peers alike. Their unwavering commitment to excellence has shaped the agency’s ethos, ensuring that every individual receives the same level of care and attention as their own family members. While Peggy and Mitch have transitioned from the day-to-day operations, their enduring dedication to the agency’s success continues to inspire and guide the team.
    Mitch Williams continues to serve as the President of the Northern California Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) chapter, championing efforts to safeguard employees and uphold industry standards. His involvement extends to various community organizations, including the San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce and the San Mateo Rotary Club. Together, Peggy and Mitch have cultivated a culture of excellence within Home Helpers of San Mateo, reflected in the numerous awards and recognitions garnered over the years.     Client Services Supervisor

    Vanessa is our Client Services Supervisor. She joined Home Helpers in 2018, and is a multi-tasking master at scheduling. She is the lead in our day-to-day scheduling, and is very talented at seeing where opportunities and the best possible caregiver match are. She is also responsible for managing the client and caregiver satisfaction survey each month, and has her pulse on the trends in our market. Vanessa has a great “can-do” attitude and never likes to walk away from a challenge.

    Client Services and Hiring Manager

    Tania is our Hiring and Client Services Manager. She has a huge job hiring all our new caregivers, and keeping all their paperwork compliant with CA laws. She is focused on finding exceptional caregivers and getting them work as soon as possible. She is a terrific link between new caregivers and our Client Services team who schedule the shifts, and she is often the one who finds new caregivers their first assignment. She has a great sense of humor and keeps all chuckling in the office.

    Client Services Manager

    Dulce is our Client Care Manager. For most of the week, she is out in the field introducing caregivers to their clients, and is checking in with clients to ensure that they are happy with the care they are receiving. She started working with Home Helpers in 2021 and was a Client Services Manager before taking on the Client Care Manager role.
