Paying for In-Home Care
WE OFFER A VARIETY OF CONVENIENT OPTIONS
If you’re considering in-home care for your loved one, the cost is undoubtedly one of the first things that come to mind. At Home Helpers® Home Care, we are proud to offer premium care services at a fraction of the cost of alternative options like assisted living facilities or nursing homes. In addition to the cost-savings, in-home care allows clients to maintain a sense of independence in the home they have built, furnished, and grown comfortable in.

Although most customers pay for services themselves (which we call “self-pay”), there are other options available to help reduce out-of-pocket costs. Let’s explore some of these options:
-
VETERANS
- Home Helpers Home Care has partnered with Veterans Care Coordination and Patriot Angels to help veterans and/or a surviving spouse access the Aid and Attendance Pension benefits they’ve earned. Please note that this is a veteran’s pension benefit and is not dependent upon service-related injuries for compensation.

HOMEOWNERS
- Our partners at Promisor Residential will purchase your qualified home at a fair price through their Quick Buy Leaseback Program™. You receive the equity and stay in the home you love while Promisor takes on the burdens of ownership, such as maintaining the property, performing major repairs, and paying property taxes, insurance, and other costs of ownership.
Visit them at www.PromisorResidential.com or email HomeHelpers@PromisorResidential.com for more information.
-
MEDICARE ADVANTAGE
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) updated its rules to allow for payment of some in-home care. Because this is a new benefit with evolving qualifications and territories, contact your local Home Helpers Home Care agency to see if you’re eligible to take part in these Medicare Advantage benefits.
