Meet Our Team

Since May of 2012, Denise has been the owner and president of Home Helpers, a fully licensed, insured and bonded home care agency providing compassionate and reliable support and care to elders and their families throughout the Boston MetroWest area. From 2003 to 2012, Denise was the Assistant Director of MetroWest SHINE (a Medicare/Medicaid counseling program for seniors). Denise holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and is a licensed Dementia Trainer and Practitioner.

Leslie has been helping take care of the elderly for 25 years! In addition to being a Certified HHA and Nursing Assistant, she earned her Medical Assistant license in 2012. She has extensive experience with hospice and end of life care. She uses her vast experience to provide ongoing support, supervision and training for clients and caregivers alike. She is a terrific problem solver and is willing to do just about ANYTHING that is needed to help a client – from fixing plumbing problems to removing a turtle that has wandered into a home!

Kristen has been part of the Home Helpers team since 2013 – first as an endeared Caregiver, next as office staff support, and today, a fantastic Field Supervisor. She uses her unique set of skills and her medical training as a former EMT to provide ongoing support, supervision and training for clients and caregivers. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and provides valuable training and oversight for caregivers and families of clients with memory impairment.

Since joining us in 2019, Diana has EVERY job in our office – recruiting/hiring/onboarding new caregivers, scheduling, managing client and caregiver emergencies, and more;  she is a true team player.  As Client Services Manager, she uses her impressive multi-tasking abilities to oversee all scheduling and daily operations. She treats all Home Helpers clients and caregivers with utmost compassion, kindness and respect. She always has a smile on her face and her desk is much neater than anyone else’s in the office!

Debby joined our team in 2024 as Director of Community Outreach. Her passion for elder care and forging relationships is only surpassed by her love of baking! Debby always has a smile on her face and a positive affirmation to share with everyone she encounters. Throughout the MetroWest area Debby takes pride in spreading Home Helper’s vision and learning about opportunities to help those in need of home care support. In her free time Debby enjoys traveling, making driftwood and beach glass art, spending time with friends and family, hiking, and baking delicious treats.

Stephani joined Home Helpers in 2024, bringing healthcare industry experience in complex pediatric care, phlebotomy, hiring and administration! As our HR Manager, her dedication to building strong teams is matched only by her passion for nurturing lives of all ages. She uses her considerable talents recruiting, hiring, and onboarding great new Caregivers. She is an absolute WHIZ on the computer, speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese, and treats all applicants and our fantastic caregivers with the respect they deserve.
