Attending the event from Home Helpers (and pictured below) were Mandy Delp, Eileen Edling and Bernadette Roman. The Keynote speaker was Loretta Downs, an internationally-recognized uplifting and inspiring person who is passionate about improving the end-of-life experience. Loretta is a Certified Senior Advisor, End-of-Life Care Practitioner, Advance Care Planning Facilitator and a Death Doula. The often-avoided, yet critical topic of discussion no one wants to have received top billing at this event.

Mandy Delp, Community Outreach Manager for Home Helpers Home Care, participated in the 1^st 5K Mad Hatter race at Meadowood Retirement Community in Lansdale, Pa. The event benefitted Montgomery County Code Blue. Everyone enthusiastically embraced the theme of the event, as shown below.

Home Helpers’ Owner Frank Esterle participated in the September networking event of PCADV (Professional Care Alliance of the Delaware Valley), hosted at The 501 at Mattison Estate-Sage Life Senior Living, in Ambler, Pa. Guest speaker, Steve Rosenberg, addressed the group with a powerful presentation on networking.

Home Helpers was pleased to co-host the June meeting of Montgomery County Network Connections at the Philadelphia Protestant Home in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia. Home Helpers was thrilled to participate in the annual Benevolent Fund dinner at Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, Pa. The event celebrates the contributions of both residents and vendor partners to the Benevolent Fund, which covers the cost of care should a resident exhaust their funds through unexpected and excessive care costs.
