Meet Our Team

Ralph is the owner and operator of the office in Downers Grove, IL and Bourbonnais, IL. Ralph has a background in business operations. He got his love for senior care when he had to care for his father who had a health set back. That is when he began his journey within the home care industry to ensure all seniors received excellent care. Ralph is married to Jessica Ball-Johnson, who co-owns Home Helpers with him. They share a son as well.

Rebecca started at Home Helpers as a caregiver and now has the opportunity to grow with the company as our Office Manager. Her grandmother has been a large influence in her life as Rebecca helped take care of her as she grew up.

Rebecca will be responsible for payroll, billing, hiring, and assisting with the schedule. She loves to read a good book with her two cats and savor a hot cup of coffee.

Ally started her career as a caregiver while she completed her bachelor’s in healthcare administration at East Coast Polytechnic Institute – ECPI University. She became our Home Helpers Client Care Coordinator in 2023. Ally assists with 90-day reviews, client assessments, and creating service plans.

She and her significant other have one child and three fur babies. Ally enjoys reading, golfing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Amanda started her career in home care when she was hired on as a caregiver through Home Helpers in 2023. She was promoted to Lead Caregiver in 2024. She has a wide variety of knowledge when it comes to home care, from companionship to end of life care. Amanda will utilize these skills in the office doing the schedule, and client/caregiver pop in visits. Amanda lives with her fiancé, and their cat. They enjoy traveling often.

Dawn has a background in both child and patient care. For nine years she served as a direct service person mentoring and assisting children and young adults with autism in a community living setting. Dawn has a vast amount of experience when it comes to senior care. She cared for individuals who were post stroke, post heart attack, dementia care, and hospice care. As a certified nursing assistant and a dialysis technician, she showed her patients excellent care and personalized their care based on their needs. Dawn is also bilingual. She loves spending time with her granddaughter. She is also a great seamstress, and has a passion for reading mystery novels. Dawn is our lead caregiver, and she helps filling in during the week to ensure that all of our clients receive uninterrupted care. She also helps to train new caregivers with those clients to ensure they always receive the best care.
