Hi, I’m Andrew, and thank you for taking the time to get to know our team.

For more than 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for patients as a Physician Assistant, helping individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments. That experience reinforced something I believe deeply: great care is about so much more than medicine. It’s about compassion, dignity, and treating every person like family.

My wife, Laura, and I started Home Helpers Home Care of Winter Garden because we wanted to build a business centered around those values. Our goal is simple: to provide dependable, compassionate care that gives families peace of mind while helping their loved ones remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with Laura and our two daughters, golfing, or cheering from the sidelines at one of the girls’ activities.

Professionally, I’ve spent my career building teams, improving processes and experiences, and helping organizations thrive. Supporting our Home Helpers team allows me to bring those same passions to something deeply personal: serving families in the community where Andrew and I are raising our own family.

I’ve always believed that exceptional care begins with exceptional people. One of my favorite parts of Home Helpers is supporting the caregivers who make our mission possible, creating an environment where they feel valued, prepared, and empowered to provide outstanding care.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with Andrew and our two daughters, tackling a home project, enjoying time outdoors, or cheering on our girls in all of their adventures.

Hi, I’m Barbara.

I’ve been a Registered Nurse for more than 44 years, including many years caring for patients in their homes. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients and families during some of life’s most important moments, always with the goal of helping people remain as independent and comfortable as possible.

One of the things I love most about home care is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships. Every client has a unique story, and it’s a privilege to help them continue living safely in the place they call home.

I enjoy helping people and making every interaction a positive one. As part of the Home Helpers team, you’ll often find me answering the phone, welcoming prospective clients and caregivers, coordinating interviews, and helping keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

My background includes recruiting, customer service, and operations support, and I love bringing organization, communication, and a friendly voice to every conversation. Whether you’re reaching out for care or looking to join our caregiver team, I’m always happy to help however I can.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me enjoying Mexican food, attempting to stick to a Pilates routine, or spending time with the people I love.
