That’s why here at Home Helpers® Home Care, we prioritize Wellness Calls as part of our elder home care services. These calls provide much needed companionship or reminders for loved ones, and can happen as often as you or your loved one would like. Our Caregivers are trained to not only provide physical assistance, but also emotional support to improve overall wellbeing.

Stay Connected with Wellness Calls

Wellness calls can be used for any of the reasons below:

• Morning or evening check-in
• Medication reminders
• Hydration reminders
• Meal reminders
• Exercise reminders
• Companionship (A simple hello, how are you today?)
• Customized Response Plans for Missed Calls

We understand that there may be times when a loved one may not be able to answer a Wellness Call. In these situations, our Caregivers will work with you to create a customized response plan. We will determine how many times per day to try and call, and what family members should be notified. Whether it’s via a phone call, text, or email, this closed loop process helps ensure the best elder home care and safety for your loved ones. And if the situation is not urgent, let us know, and we will simply make a note of the missed call.
