Whether you’re a senior needing a little help around the house or someone to help you run errands or you’re a family member looking for full-time non-medical care for a loved one, finding the right caregiver – and the right company – is important. We’re Kayleen and Alan Erdman, the local owners and operators of Home Helpers and Direct Link of North Dakota, and we opened this business because we saw an opportunity to raise the bar in in-home care and reach a rural area where we saw a HUGE need for home care. Our mission is to keep you and your loved one’s in the comfort of their homes as long as possible. We strive to provide more options to the people of North Dakota.
Home Helpers is the nation’s leading franchise specializing in comprehensive home care for seniors, new mothers and individuals needing recuperative and continuing assistance. Direct Link is our proprietary line of 24/7 medical alert systems, including a fall sensor and an automated medication dispenser. Home Helpers and Direct Link of North Dakota serves Williston, Minot, Bismarck and all small towns and communities in between.
The idea to open this business actually started with our daughter, Kaitlyn, who has worked in in-home care for a number of years. We saw the positive personal relationships she built with the people she care for and the impact those relationships made on both of their lives, but we also saw a lot of room for improvement in the companies themselves. We often caught ourselves saying, ‘If this were our company, we would do things differently.’ Now, with Home Helpers and Direct Link of North Dakota, we can!
Home Helpers and Direct Link of North Dakota offers free in-home consultations and works with each client to create a flexible, affordable care plan based on a person’s individual needs. Services offered include personal care such as grooming, bathing, ambulation, medication management and care management as well as respite care, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, companionship and transportation. Contact us today to see how we can help you and your family live life to the fullest in the comfort of your own home.

    Billing Specialist | Medicaid Facilitator

My name is Kameron Erdman. I started working as a caregiver during Covid of 2019 with no experience. I quickly become “friends” with one of our elderly clients and we have remained close ever since. My mom was needing help in the office with billing and payroll so I started to help her little by little with Medicaid billing. Recently, I have been promoted to Billing Specialist for Accounts Receivables, Medicaid Billing, Medicaid Recconsiiation and Invoicing. I love to work with numbers while using my Associate Degree in Business. I have learned a lot working more in the office with day to day activities behind the scenes of the field.
