Message from our COO – Jackie McMahon
I’m proud to serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Home Helpers of Thousand Oaks. With 17 years of experience in the home care industry, my passion for helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home has only grown stronger. After speaking with thousands of individuals and families navigating the challenges of caregiving, one of my favorite things to do is educate them on all their options and serve as a trusted referral source. Whether it’s connecting them to local resources, answering questions about care, or guiding them through next steps, I find it incredibly fulfilling to help families make informed decisions. I am also blessed to work alongside an amazing team of dedicated caregivers, case managers, and staff who share the same commitment to compassion and excellence. Together, we make sure every client and family feels supported. I also encourage families to explore long-term care insurance while you’re younger and healthy—it’s often more affordable and can ensure access to quality care when it’s needed most. Skills Training
We are launching a new and improved Skills Training Program for our caregivers. This upgraded training is designed to be more detailed, interactive, and focused on the essential techniques that make a real difference in delivering exceptional care. The session will be led by our Care Manager, Christina, who will be guiding caregivers through this valuable learning experience.
From advanced caregiving techniques to practical, real-life scenarios, our enhanced program will ensure our team is better equipped, more confident, and always ready to deliver the highest quality of care to our clients and their families.
We believe in continuous learning and growth because when our caregivers are empowered, our clients thrive.
