    Erika Stipiello, PHD, CSA, CNA

    Erika Stupiello, originally from Brazil, immigrated to the US to support her only son Bruno as he pursued his dream and train to become a pilot. In Brazil, Erika was a tenured professor at São Paulo State University and certified translator in English and Portuguese with over 25 years of academic experience in translator training and research. She holds a PhD in Linguistics. She is trilingual (Portuguese, English, French). Seeking to further her training to offer the best of herself in service to her clients as owner of Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota, Erika completed the American Red Cross training program and became a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida. She also completed the training with the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, which educates and certifies professionals who work with older adults and she is now a Certified Senior Advisor.
    Erika also focused her training and studies on Alzheimer`s Disease and Dementia Care and became a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is Erika’s encore career, her mission is to serve older adults and those who need assistance in their homes so they can live with dignity and grace, remaining in control of their lives as long as possible.

    Community Liaison

    Tina Trotta began her journey in health care when she became a Certified Nursing Assistant with the Red Cross in 2000. She graduated nursing school in 2007 as her second career. She holds a Music Degree from the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, Va.

    As a Registered Nurse, she specializes in geriatric nursing, specifically Alzheimer`s and Dementia. She has also taught in the Nursing Assistant training program. Tina was the Lead Instructor and Compliance Nurse for American Red Cross Nurse Assistant Training.

    Tina Trotta is the Supervising Registered Nurse and Community Liaison at Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota. She draws on her extensive experience in sales and marketing and her experience and passion for senior home health care in to pursue her educational outreach work in the Sarasota County community.

    She is a former resident of the State of Massachusetts and has lived in Sarasota since November 2013.

    Wendy Collins was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She moved to Florida with her husband Frank in 2019. She has two grown children. She holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. She lost her job during the pandemic and found her new passion in healthcare. She worked as an activities assistant at Harbor Chase of Sarasota. That is where she met an amazing client who she worked privately for over two years. Wendy coordinated her client`s 24-7 care staff and managed her client`s appointments. In 2020 she met Erika and joined the Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota team as a home health aide in 2022. She proved herself as a reliable, trusted, caring and skilled home health aide and was promoted the position of Client Care Manager the following year. Wendy says she feels truly blessed as she found her true passion in life helping others.
