Post Operative Care in Sarasota, FL

I would definitely recommend Home Helpers of Sarasota for someone in need of caregiving services at home. The CNA sent to help my father is very attentive to his needs. The agency is very flexible with the hours, so my father gets the attention and care he needs when he needs it. Even though I live in another state, I can follow up the services using their care portal.  

I am very glad I was able to find Home Helpers of Sarasota and sign on with them. They were able to start care for my mom the very next day she was discharged from the hospital. Her caregiver was reliable and compassionate. Even though we used their services for only a couple of weeks, I highly recommend this agency.  

Our mother had another fall at home and was transported to doctors hospital in Sarasota to be checked out. At the time it was just me (her son) caring for her at home along with routine visits for bathing help. I knew that we needed a little more help and this began With having Home Helpers Homecare come to the hospital when she was discharged and bringing her back home and to her own bedroom. My mother was quite weak at this point and I was very happy that they said they could come to the hospital and bring her back home since i didn't feel I could safely do it. After they got her into her house and back to her own bedroom we talked about having more help for her at the house and they really worked with me to get started on having attentive care without us having to relocate her to a nursing home which we did not want to do. After this latest downturn in her health. She couldn't really get out of bed. They bathed her in her bed, helped her eat and drink, helped in the kitchen, and told me that they would help with anything that might need to be done. I really appreciate that I was able to have them come and be here for about a half day or so each time with the option of calling them at any time of day or night if I were to need more help.

I was recommended Home Helpers by a person in the healthcare industry and I'm very happy I followed this recommendation. Erika responded quickly and directly to me and after a short call to better understand my mother's needs, in just a few days she had morning and evening home care support in place with her team. Erika checked in REGULARLY with me and the aids also added daily notes and COMMENTs to their portal which I could acces so i could check on my mother's status daily. This was helpful to me being remotely located and knowing my mother was getting attentive care when i couldn't be there myself .I am so very GRATEFUL i was put in contact with such an Excellent service that was put into place in such a short time. Thank you Erika and your team for your dedicated support and excellent care-giving you provided to my mom!  

MY FAMILY WORKED WITH ERIKA TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR OUR FATHER AND HIS PArtner WHILE THEY VISITED LONG BOAT KEY FOR TWO MONTHS. ERIKA MATCHED THEM UP WITH A WONDERFUL AID WHO NOT ONLY HANDLED HOUSEHOLD TASKS BUT DROVE THEM ON OUTINGS AND KEPT THEM SAFE AND COMFORTABLE. ERIKA IS VERY RESOURCEFUL AND RESPONSIBLE. SHE RECOMMENDED A SERVICE WHERE WE WERE ABLE TO RENT A WHEELCHAIR AND THE AID EVEN ACCOMPANIED OUR FATHER TO THE AIRPORT AND MADE SURE THAT HE WAS CHECKED IN AND ON HIS WAY TO HIS GATE IN A WHEELCHAIR. MANY THANKS TO ERIKA AND HER EXCELLENT AID FOR MAKING OUR FATHER’S FLORIDA STAY A WONDERFUL WINTER ESCAPE
