Home Helpers of Larimer County is locally owned and operated by Kate Ricke. I have a Bachelor of Science in Health Service Organization and Policy and I built my career in the healthcare field specializing in revenue cycle management. I am also a Certified Senior Advisor and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Throughout my career, I have had rewarding experiences volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association, Nebraska Aids Project, and several local non-profit organizations.
Our team is here to promote self-care and independence, maintain safety and comfort, and preserve the dignity of our clients and their families by providing exceptional services wherever our clients call home. We have a deep passion for helping each person as an individual, and we strive to always provide the same level of care and attention to detail that we would expect for our own family.
My desire to serve seniors was built upon the strength and closeness with my grandparents and godparents, Phyllis, Ione, and Lucille, who lived their final years in Illinois nursing homes. Grandpa Dean and Granny Dot aged in place in Indiana. My supportive husband, Chris Ricke, is an optometrist in Fort Collins and we live in Loveland. My adventurous daughters love to hike, fish, and dance. We are blessed to have Chris’s Grandma, our parents, brothers, sisters, and nieces here in Loveland.
