It is with the highest appreciation and gratitude that I leave a five-star review for Carey Powel who helped care for my mother in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease. Carey's skillfulness was immediately successful in gaining my mother’s trust. Right away I could see that my mother was comfortable with her. Carey was successful in getting my mother to do the normal activities of daily living where the disease posed difficulties doing so. Carey often went above and beyond, helping me find ways to overcome many unique challenges. My mother recently passed away, and I am so reflective of her journey with Alzheimer's disease. Such a challenging time in my mother’s life, and my family’s, was eased by Carey, and I will never forget the extraordinary impact Carey made on all of us.

I want to give a shoutout to Carey Powell. I have worked with Carey for about a year and a half, and she has supported me and worked with me with all of my clients. Carey has a pulse on all of her caregivers that she supervises. She is always going above and beyond for the employees and especially for her clients. She gives her heart and soul to her job.

I hired Home Helpers to assist my mom & dad prior to transferring them to an Assisted Living facility. They are amazing and I wish I would have found them earlier. My dad has severe dementia, Tiffany and Roxann are a God-Send, they are kind, caring and extremely loving and dedicated to my parents care. I have had other caretakers to take care of my parents and they don’t ever compare to these ladies. They go above and beyond with their care They are very loving. I found Home Helpers Home Care of Larimer County through a search on the web. I read through the website and decided they might be able to help my family. I gave Kate a call and we talked about their services and what my family needed. She patiently answered all of my questions with honesty, compassion and genuine caring. She came to meet with us and took time to introduce herself to my mom who was the one needing the care. When our needs changed sooner than we thought, Kate had no issues giving pivoting to meet the amount of care we needed. Our caregiver Kris, was wonderful. She took great care of my mom, and that was so important to me. Her care let my father be a husband to my mom again, rather than a care giver. I am so grateful for that. I would recommend Kate and her team , especially Kris without hesitation.

After my shoulder surgery, Kris Dellalucia made pots of chili, stew, and chicken pot pie. The meals are now in my freezer. It will be so good to have home cooked nutritious meals during recovery! Thank you!
