I had been caring for my beloved 90 yo Mom for several years and finally reached a point where I knew that it would benefit us both to have some support in our home. I reached out to Shawna who arrived for an assessment within two days and set up a schedule for regular support visits. It has entirely changed our lives to have Christina's kind and efficient assistance. I had no idea how tired and careworn I had become. Why did I not call on Home Helpers a year ago? Christina arrives and immediately dives in! If I leave a wish list of tasks, she accomplishes all of them and more! If I do not, she finds things to do that I did not even recognize needed doing! I was able to take a vacation! She spent each day with Mom, reading to her, caring for her and our home. They had "spa day" and Christina did her hair and massaged and manicured her hands and feet. She helped Mom to entertain a few friends! I realized, in my absence, that the additional gift was providing Mom with a bit of autonomy. It is not an overstatement to say that the relief from daily care has bolstered our relationship. Instead of perpetual care and housework, I am available to chat and laugh and be a daughter once more! We are both living our lives in technicolor again.

I called out to Rosanne who called the emergency medics and then she arranged for my friend to meet the ambulance at the hospital. Rosanne stayed at my house until my friend's husband arrived to take care of my kitty until his wife got home from the hospital. from the caregivers to the office personnel i know any problem will be handled quickly and efficiently."
