Caregiver Michelle

Caregiving is one of the hardest hats we wear, especially when we are caring for seniors. Sometimes, we care for our parents in much the same way they cared for us when we were children.

I want to share with you about a phenomenal caregiver today.   She has been working with us for about 12 years now, caring for one couple.   She started caring for the husband after he suffered a stroke.   As the couple has aged through the years, she has also begun caring for the wife as her dementia became more evident.  This lovely couple never had any children of their own but have come to rely on Michelle as part of their extended family. 

She prepares their meals, helps with maintaining their homes, does laundry, conducts medication reminders, grocery shops, transports them to the doctor, etc. Michelle does all of this with the love that a child usually has for their parents. In addition, she maintains her own home and family. Caregivers like Michelle are very special people, and we are grateful to have her on our team.
