Meet Stacey Main, March’s Caregiver of The Month

After evaluating some awesome candidates for the Caregiver of the Month Award for the month of March, we finally came to a decision. We have so many great caregivers providing home care services in Enfield, Suffield, Tolland, Somers and all over North Central CT. They all work beyond our expectations and it is becoming really hard to decide upon who to award. When we went through our data, however, we had a person who really stood out in early 2016 and, therefore, deserved to be recognized. That is Stacey Main who provides home care in Suffield for our client Joe P.

Stacey has been working at Joe’s home since August 2015, with great dedication. She is the kind of person who goes beyond expectations to provide excellent home care services. For example, Stacy would prepare special meals at her home, on her own time, and bring them to share with Joe, only because she wouldn’t have the time to prepare them during her shift. She also brought her own vacuum cleaner, when the family’s device wouldn’t work properly. She would drive by, out of her shift time, just to check how Joe was doing and to see if he needed anything. I could go on and on describing situations when Stacy did nice things that were totally unexpected, only to improve Joe’s comfort, in his home.

Needless to say that this type of concern and dedication is exactly what we look for in candidates who apply for our home care jobs.

But Joe also has some nice words to share, about his caregiver. “I don’t know what I would do without Stacy. She has made me feel so much better and relaxed”, he says. “She has made my life easier in a caring, personable way”, he continues, as he describes the way she provides him with senior care.

For all these reasons, Stacey is the caregiver of the Month in May.

Congratulations, Stacey!
