    Community Liaison

    Being a resource for our new and existing clients is the work of our Community Liaison, Aimee Capuzzi. From the initial call to the first day of services, Aimee offers her client’s families and friends with the compassion as if they were part of her own family.

    Aimee found a passion in helping others especially after watching her own parents struggle with the needs of her grandparents. Going through the personal experiences gives Aimee the desire to help families especially in the dire times of need. She is more than willing to meet with families at their convenience and offer any advice or support during challenging times for changes in a loved one’s health. Aimee knows the value of having information and resources for her clients even when the services go beyond non-medical home care. Her strong personality can provide clients, families, and friends with the comforts of being part of the Home Helpers family.

    Aimee graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Corporate Communications and a minor in Civic and Community Engagement. Aimee found her passion of a home care career with Home Helpers in 2016.

    Michelle Brown started her career with Home Helpers working behind the scenes in billing. After the death of her husband Adam, who established the Drexel Hill office in 2002, Michelle stepped in and took over the business as President in 2009.

    Michelle was a former caregiver herself who knows what it takes to step inside the life of a senior and provide care. She uses her experiences from taking care of one of Home Helpers of Drexel Hill’s first female clients. They spent time going out to breakfast, staying active, and working on household tasks to maintain independence. This set Michelle up for success through the eyes of caregiving. She also spent over 8 years working in the medical field as a medical assistant and clinical office manager.

    Michelle’s perseverance to succeed in the home care industry has kept the Drexel Hill office going strong for over 20 years. In 2012, Michelle was ranked the 4th largest Woman Owned Business recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

    Michelle enjoys spending time with her two children, Allison and Evan. She has never missed a game or competition and is always there to support her family.

    Jenifer Cerminano

    Office Manager

    Jenifer Cerminaro is the “Jack of all trades” at the Drexel Hill Office. Jenifer Started out as a scheduler in May 2012 and worked her way through several positions to her current role. Jenifer has helped in every aspect of the company from Caregiving, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing to Acting Business Operations. Jenifer is willing to help and no task is too small or even too big. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and knows the importance of getting the job done. In the last ten years Jenifer has applied many skills that she has learned along the way.

    Jenifer knows the importance of being able to age in place safely from her firsthand experience stepping in as a caregiver when needed. She brings the compassion of taking care of her own family members and applies it to her ability to understand how to properly care for people. Jenifer has experience caring and understanding care for an individual with special needs as her own child was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth. Understanding goals and the importance of having quality of life is important to her as well.

    Jenifer brings a strong background of Legal, Administrative work and knowledge. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Specialized Business locally at PJA School in Upper Darby, she then continued to work full time and obtained her Bachelor of Science Criminal Justice at Strayer University where she also was received acceptance into The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

    While working with Home Helpers Jenifer has also achieved certification for Office of Development Programs Incident Management Certified Investigator. Jenifer Looks forward to the coming years to provide quality of life to anyone she meets.
