Meet Our Team

Home Helpers of Danville and Walnut Creek has been providing professional home care since 2005. It is currently run by Chris Jo, who is fully committed to making life easier for his clients by hiring experienced caregivers and by holding a standard of care that he would expect for his own family.

Home Helpers is locally owned and operated – it was started by Robert Jo. His son, Chris Jo, continues to run the agency. A few years before starting the agency, Robert’s father had a stroke. Robert and his siblings were faced with the difficult decision of how to handle the care for their own dad. They were not aware of the option of in-home care. They decided to move their father to an assisted living facility where he passed away a few years later. After that experience, Robert learned about Home Helpers and the benefits of aging in place. Chris continues to run Home Helpers with the same desire of offering families the choice of compassionate in-home care.

Home Helpers of Danville and Walnut Creek was awarded Home Care Pulse’s “Provider of Choice” Award in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Our Senior Home Care services are available in Alamo, Danville, Diablo, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, and surrounding cities.

In his personal time, Chris enjoys hiking outdoors, spending time with his wife, and attending his local church.
