Phillip Nunn is a Certified Alzheimer’s Educator through the NCBAC and brings over 27 years of proven leadership and management experience to his role as Agency Manager and Co-Owner of Home Helpers Home Care. A dedicated mentor and team builder, Phillip is passionate about coaching, training, and empowering his staff to provide exceptional care with compassion and integrity. With a strong background in Accounting, Business, and banking, Phillip combines operational expertise with a deep commitment to service. His leadership style reflects his belief that serving others is one of the most important things we can do, and that belief shapes every aspect of how the agency operates. Phillip and his wife, who also has over 27 years of experience in the field, proudly own and operate their locally based, family-run agency. Their shared mission is to give back to the community they love by offering personalized, reliable care and being the most trusted and respected provider of comprehensive home care services.  Being locally owned and operated means their team can respond with flexibility and heart, treating clients not just as customers, but as neighbors and family. Outside of his work, Phillip is a proud father of two amazing children. When he’s not guiding his team or serving clients, he enjoys spending time with loved ones and hitting the golf course.

Michelle Nunn is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 27 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and a lifelong passion for serving others. Her journey into healthcare began early, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant while still in high school. After earning her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credentials, she continued her education while working in the field, ultimately achieving her RN degree. Throughout her career, Michelle has consistently focused on compassionate care, with a special dedication to the senior population. Her inspiration to enter home care came from personal experience, witnessing her grandparents’ battle with cancer and the hospice care they received. Supported by a large and loving family, Michelle saw firsthand the power of having caring support during life’s most vulnerable moments. She also became deeply aware that many individuals do not have loved ones to step in during times of need, which strengthened her commitment to being part of the solution. Motivated by this experience, Michelle, along with her husband Phil, opened Home Helpers, a home care agency that helps clients remain independent and supported in the comfort of their own homes. Under her leadership, the organization has become a trusted name in compassionate care, connecting individuals with dedicated caregivers who treat clients like family. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Michelle is a proud wife of 27 years and the mother of two accomplished children, a son in an electrical apprenticeship program and a daughter pursuing a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology. Her deep family values, clinical expertise, and unwavering commitment to serving others continue to guide her every day in making a positive difference in the lives of her clients and caregivers.

Deandra has always had a passion for helping others, a calling she discovered at a young age. During her high school years, she was actively involved with Best Buddies, an organization dedicated to fostering friendships and inclusive opportunities for children and teens with disabilities, including participation in school events like prom. She continued her path of service by attending the University of Indianapolis, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in criminal justice and a concentration in child development. After graduation, Deandra began working with children on the autism spectrum and became a licensed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She dedicated four years to this work before deciding to transition into a new role where she could serve a different population, older adults. Driven by a lifelong goal to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives, Deandra is excited to be in a setting where she can expand her experience and provide compassionate care to seniors. She is thrilled to be part of the Home Helpers Home Care team and looks forward to continuing her mission of making a positive difference every day.
