Owning Home Helpers Home Health and Home Care is a dream come true for me. I always wanted to own my own business and when I was laid off from my job several years ago, I realized that was my sign to pursue my dream. I started looking into business opportunities and realized that a Home Helpers franchise was exactly what I was looking for—a business that provides a needed, valuable service, that creates jobs for people in Eastern Idaho, and that allows my staff and me to be active contributors in our local communities of Aberdeen, American Falls, Ammon, Blackfoot,Idaho Falls, Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, Pocatello, Rexburg, Rigby,Ririe, Shelley, and Soda Springs.
Since our office opened in 2010, I have come to understand even better what an amazing service we are able to provide. When a client says to me, “You don’t know what burden you’ve lifted off my shoulders,” it just reinforces the knowledge that I made the right decision and that we are making a significant impact in the lives of our clients.
To ensure that I am able to provide my clients and their families with the utmost care and experience, I completed a comprehensive course focusing on health, financial, and social aspects of aging and have earned the designation of Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). The CSA designation also provides me with the knowledge and ability to serve as a resource to help point people in the right direction. I am also a Certified Dementia Practitioners, and many of my staff and caregivers are Certified Alzheimer’s Caregivers.
