When my mother was discharged from the hospital following her hip replacement, I was completely overwhelmed. A neighbor recommended Home Helpers, and making that call was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the very first consultation, the team made me feel like I wasn’t alone. Their care coordinator walked me through every option patiently, no pressure, no rush and followed up the next day just to check in. I wasn’t expecting that level of care so early on. The caregiver they matched us with has been an absolute blessing. She’s punctual, genuinely warm, and has a way of making my mom feel respected and independent rather than like someone being “taken care of.” My mom was initially resistant to the idea of in-home help and now she looks forward to the visits. That says everything.

Home Helpers is a spectacular option if you’re needing extra support for a loved one who finds themself needing assistance with activities of daily living…..bathing, dressing, eating/ meals or grooming. Maybe they’ve become ill or had a recent procedure and need extra help while recuperating from a recent physical setback. Professional, kind, and excellent care is available through Home Helpers. Jackie cannot come more highly recommended to help you with any questions, planning, coordinating, or direction when needing to coordinate any care that your loved one may need. I’ve been the grateful recipient of her help many times and there is no one more qualified and delightful than her! I highly recommend you give her a call with any assistance you may need.

I was looking for a caregiver for my sister and talked to several companies. Because I was under pressure to find care, I was beginning to feel I would have to settle for something I wasn't comfortable with. For my last effort, I contacted Home Helpers in Woodland and have been extremely thankful that I made that one last call. I immediately had a good feeling when talking to Nooji. He was helpful, understanding, and most of all flexible. He understood my situation and that we will need more and more care as time goes on. He built that into his plan for us. He kept checking with us to ensure everything was going smoothly. I mentioned that we might need someone a little more proactive and he suggested we try a different caregiver to see if it made a difference. It did and my sister and I are both quite happy with the current situation. I can't express enough how amazing Nooji is. He is compassionate, thoughtful and cares deeply about his clients and his business. 5 stars all around for someone who makes a difference in this very difficult yet necessary line of work.
