Dr. Claire Leegard is a Registered Nurse with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. She has worked with patients from newborns to centenarians with special emphasis on senior care, community health, and mental health. Her recent work has been focused on management, training and education as her way to remain involved in the education of future nurses and to be current in her specialty fields.

Dr. Leegard is not your typical advanced practice nurse, instead of a white coat and stethoscope, she dons a more personal uniform, visiting clients in their own homes which she enjoys doing. She possesses not only the clinical expertise of a registered nurse but also the leadership and research skills to provide the best practices. This unique combination makes her an authoritative force in the home care industry, where she helms her own agency Home Helpers of Wheaton and Naperville.

Kathleen has been in health care management for over 10 years. She has also been a caregiver to family members in her own life experiences. She has been working with seniors specifically for 11 years. Her passion for the elderly and her dedication make her an asset to our team. Kathleen oversees all case management for our clients and making sure that they receive top quality care. She is committed and focused on being an advocate for our seniors and their care and helping to bring more quality to their life while maintaining as much independence as possible.

If anything is worth doing, it is worth doing right. However, accepting nothing less than perfection hinders forward movement. I bring the right balance of a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement to businesses, cross-functional organizations, and finance teams.

I go beyond running the numbers to solving business problems, streamlining processes and procedures, and creating systems that drive efficiencies within finance and the rest of the business.

Known for my unwavering integrity, I face business challenges head-on. I elevate teams, allowing us to discuss challenges and resolve them together. With a double major in accounting and finance, I understand how one small change, new procedure, or transaction in one department impacts another department or even the entire company.

I provide my full support, knowledge and expertise to the success of this agency. My wife Claire and I are accomplished in our lives and we are dedicated to elevating this agency to the level that it was meant to be.

Paula Moerschel started with Home Helpers 11 years ago as a caregiver, so she has first-hand experience in the most important aspect of our agency, serving our clients daily in their homes. She now works in the office, and in her role as scheduler, she works closely with both clients and caregivers. She strives to build a great team of caregivers who have the core values it takes to serve our clients. She also works with clients and their families to make sure they have the schedule that fits their needs.

Shantaye is a skilled and experienced caregiver with over four years of dedicated service in the field. As Lead Caregiver at Home Helpers, she oversees the coordination and delivery of high-quality care to our clients. Her expertise includes monitoring care quality, facilitating effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers, resolving any concerns, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
