When you’re looking for a caregiver for yourself or a loved one, the decisions you have to make can be daunting. At Home Helpers, we focus on helping families care for their loved ones so they can focus on spending quality time together – not just being full-time caregivers.

Home Helpers’ full-range of home care services empower clients to live healthier and more rewarding lives in the privacy, safety and comfort of their own homes or wherever they call home. We are committed to dependable, trusted care that families & the St. Louis community have relied on for decades. We understand the challenges families face as they support aging parents, spouses, and relatives, and the emotional, physical, and logistical demands that caregiving can place on everyone involved.

Brian brings deep experience of caring for others through his work as a hospital chaplain, where he walked alongside many individuals and families through some of the most difficult moments of life, including illness, injury, end-of-life, and loss. Through this work, Brian learned the importance of beginning with listening—ensuring clients and their families feel heard, understood, and supported during times of uncertainty. In addition to his caregiving experience, Brian has over two decades of experience in business, entrepreneurship, and healthcare. He graduated from Saint Louis University with degrees in Philosophy and Theology and holds a Master of Arts in Theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology.

Lauren is a fourth-generation St. Louis native and a graduate of Cor Jesu Academy, where she developed a strong foundation rooted in service, leadership, and giving back to the community. Her passion for caring for others continued through her involvement in Zeta Tau Alpha while attending the University of Missouri, where service and community involvement were central to her experience. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and later earned an MBA from Maryville University. Her professional background includes hands-on patient care in hospital emergency, surgery, and oncology departments, as well as leadership roles in biotech and pharmaceutical organizations. She also brings entrepreneurial experience building mission-driven organizations with a strong focus on people, sustainable systems, and long-term impact.

Together, we believe people of all ages deserve dignity, respect, and compassionate care—especially in the comfort of their own homes. We also believe that caring for the caregiver is essential. By supporting, training, and valuing our caregivers, we ensure they are equipped to provide the consistent, attentive, and empathetic care our clients and their families deserve.

At Home Helpers Home Care of St. Louis, we provide a comprehensive and personalized approach to home care. Home Helpers specializes in supporting seniors, veterans, new mothers, families with disabled children, and individuals needing recuperative or ongoing assistance. From personal care and medication management to companionship, respite care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation, we create flexible, affordable care plans tailored to each person’s unique needs. We also offer free in-home consultations to ensure the right level of care and support.

We look forward to getting to know you and your family and to working together to make life a little easier—and a lot more supported—here in St. Louis.
