Celebrating Veterans at our Pearland Veterans Day Walk
Author: Home Helpers Home Care
Great weather, amazing sponsors, strong turnout, and wonderful volunteers made our 2025 Pearland Veterans Day Walk one to remember!
For the twelfth year in a row, we at Home Helpers Home Care were privileged to be the presenting sponsor of the Walk honoring Pearland area veterans and their families for their service.
While we see Veterans every day, providing in-home care to those who need assistance with their daily activities, the Walk is a special time each November to honor their service and sacrifice and to celebrate with them the freedoms they have won for us all.

Special thanks to the other Pearland area businesses and families that sponsored this year's Walk. The full list of sponsors is on the event page (PearlandWalk.org) but a special shout out goes to our larger returning sponsors and those who participated in the event or ceremony: H-E-B Operation Appreciation, Community Impact, Graphic Icons, Constable Buck Stevens, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corp., Ineos Oxide, Pearland's Best Coupons, Hary & Christina Moore, Sasha Costa from GRIT Realty, Pearland Democrats Club, Harry Opliger, West Pearland Republican Woman, and Jon Albin.
The sponsors' support, along with ticket sales, raffles, shirt sales and other donations again fueled our donation to local nonprofits supporting Veterans through challenges with PTSD, substance abuse, homelessness, and other battles.

On December 3rd at Rob Ray's Taproom, we presented checks to Camp Hope PTSD Foundation of America, The Warrior's Refuge, Combat Marine Outdoors, and Pearland Neighborhood Center from the proceeds of the Walk.
A portion of the proceeds also helps HIKE for Mental Health, the organizing nonprofit, to fund research grants for better understanding and treatment of brain and behavior disorders such as PTSD, anxiety, and chronic depression.
Soon we will start the planning process for the 2026 Veterans Day Walk, filled with gratitude to the City of Pearland, the Parks and Recreation Department, and the greater Pearland community for continuing to hold Veterans in your hearts, as they are in ours, throughout the year.
