Finding the right caregiving company for my mom was extremely stressful especially since the last one took advantage of my mother. Luckily we’ve had an excellent experience with Cherrie and her team. My mom is 80 years old and was in a bad accident. She needed assistance a few times a week and from the start their team was responsive and I can tell was genuinely cared for my mom. Even though she was dealing with a lot of pain from the accident she seemed happiest when the helper would be there catering to her needs. What stood out most was the consistency and how they’ve treated my mom with real kindness, respect and empathy. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate company for a loved one. You will be lucky to have them.

Listen here. I'm going to say this bluntly and it's going to be disgusting. This guy, the owner, personally came over and handled cleaning up a trash can of human excrement, among other things - at a moments notice, late in the evening, when it was needed most, real time and unforseen. When we were faced with an immediate situation with a family member that was worthy of Hollywood's envelope-pushing story lines and special effects, this guy handled it. Talk about reliability, professionalism, and quality - that's this guy.

I’ve had a great experience with Home Helpers of Santa Clara. I’m a trustee and they care for my elderly client who is completely bedridden. The caretakers I interact with most are Geraldine and Emily. They are indeed paid staff, however he sees them as friends. They keep him clean, happy, awake, healthy and engaged in all the fun tv shows, and even cook him delicious food from scratch.

I used Home Helpers for a ride to and from a medical procedure. at the hospital. The procedure ended up being delayed several hours. Home Helpers was very reassuring and stayed way past the time they were scheduled to help me. They really helped me at a very stressful time!

Santa Clara Home Helpers has been a big help in the care of my mom, without their help it would have been difficult to care for my elderly mom in our home by my self. They have shown kindness , compassion, and empathy to my moms care even with difficulties faced. Amy & Charlie are easy to talk to and very understanding regarding any issues and go above and beyond to provide the right helper for my mom. They keep us informed in advance to any changes made or if the helper assigned needs changing, they try their very best to provide coverage incase the regular helper can’t make it. Home helpers has been my go to for my mom’s needs. The caregivers are kind and patient and try to engage her in activities. They have been consistent, a special shout-out to Janice for going over and beyond to cheer mom up. They are always very responsive and respectful and listen to your needs. They have been able to find subs whenever needed. I highly recommend this agency if you are looking for someone to take care of your aged parent. Ranjitha is amazing and will try to work with you till you are happy.
