Sharon Clark is CEO of Home Helpers, a caregiving agency with over 200 clients and 55 employees. Her office is one of over 700 offices franchised out of Home Helpers Corporate in Cincinnati, OH. The growth experienced has ranked her in the top 10% of offices nationwide and internationally. Since opening in 2004, Sharon has received the “Shining Star Award” in 2007 the “Marketing Award” and in 2008 “The Spirit of Home Helpers” Award at the organization’s national meetings.
In 2010 she was awarded “Businessperson of the Year” by The Redding Chamber of Commerce, Assemblyman Jim Nielson, Congressman Wally Herger and Senator Doug LaMalfa. In 2011 she was recognized as a Healthcare Hero by the Record Searchlight. She is an entrepreneur at heart and after opening her business over 14 years ago has made it her mission to reach clients and families with education before a crisis. With this goal in mind, Sharon has hosted 3 radio programs throughout the years and most recently is launching “Home Helpers Radio”, an hour-long weekly live show on KCNR 1460AM in Redding focusing on senior care.
In her community, Sharon was 2010 chair of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, has donated her time and resources to head the annual Senior Expo since 2004, and in 2014 competed in Dancing with the Stars Shasta County Style to raise over $10,000 for One Safe Place. Home Helpers was voted “Best of The North State” in 2015 and 2016 by the Redding community.
Sharon is passionate about hiring the most dedicated staff of caregivers and supports them with training, incentives and a Gold Star caregiver recognition program.
