Eric Hathaway, Co-owner & General Manager of Home Helpers, embarked on a mission to transform senior care in Austin. Formerly a Director of Youth Ministries and a manager at Medtronic Diabetes, he founded Home Helpers on Sept 1st, responding to the growing needs of the elderly in Austin and the surrounding areas.
Eric emphasizes caregiver satisfaction, recognizing its pivotal role in delivering exemplary services to clients. His commitment reflects a vision for compassionate and holistic senior care in an ever-evolving landscape.
Chris, our financial expert, oversees long-term care insurance, veteran benefits, and growth opportunities. He provides a diverse healthcare expertise, from entrepreneurship in OBGYN ultrasound to pivotal roles at Medtronic Diabetes, Baptist Hospitals and Gilead Pharma.
As a graduate of the Air Force Academy and former pilot, Chris brings a disciplined approach to providing a great experience to our clients.

Andrea plays a key role in ensuring high-quality client care and supporting our caregiver team. She oversees care planning, conducts client assessments, and facilitates caregiver training and introductions. Outside of work, Andrea is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Tristan focuses on client outreach, caregiver recruitment, and after-hours scheduling support. His efforts help us grow our team and reach more clients in need of care. He is currently pursuing a Business degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Don will take the lead on scheduling and handling inbound calls. He’s here to ensure smooth coordination and timely support for caregivers and clients alike. He brings years of experience in customer service and operations, ensuring efficiency in every shift. In his free time, he enjoys cycling.
