I opened this business to make lives easier by providing premier in-home care services to families who are looking for dependable, fully trained, background checked, and insured caregivers. We are serving clients throughout Myrtle Beach, Grand Strand, Georgetown, Pawley’s Island, and Little River. I look forward to offering care with compassionate and understanding caregivers who are rewarded for continuous education and excellent service.

A BIT ABOUT ME

I am Wes Reed, owner and operator of Home Helpers Home Care of Myrtle Beach. I am a veteran and after basic and ATI training, I returned to service in the Maryland Army National Guard and attended college. I began my studies in education before transitioning into healthcare and started working as a nursing assistant, After earning my associate degree, I took a materials management role for surgery, coordinating equipment and supplies for the operating room. I then began a career of nearly 30 years in medical device sales. During the pandemic, I realized the growing demand for in-home care, which lead to my opening of Home Helpers Home Care of Myrtle Beach.

Pamela Sharpe is the Operations Director at Home Helpers Home Care of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She started in the medical industry straight out of high school as a GI tech, assisting physicians with endoscopy procedures. She then worked at a home health care medical supply company providing durable medical equipment and various medical supplies such as diabetic, geriatric care, incontinence, wound therapy and etc. In 1998, Pamela left the medical industry to pursue the dream of owning her own business. She received a B.S. in Biology from Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia in 2005. After growing a successful business, she sold it in 2017 to return to her real passion, the medical field. Unsure what direction she wished to proceed, she attended Medical Sales College in Tampa, Florida. Upon completion of the spine program, she accepted a Georgia Sales Representative position in medical device sales. When approached with the opportunity of becoming the Operation Director, of Home Helpers Home Care of Myrtle Beach, she eagerly accepted the challenge. Pamela looks forward to using her knowledge, skills and passion to serve individuals needing assistance with daily activities ,all while maintaining their coveted independence.
