Local Home Care Leaders Expand into Milwaukee and Ozaukee Counties Following 2025 Acquisition
Burlington, WI – February 20, 2026 – Aaron and Adriane Nelson, owners of ANA Homecare LLC DBA Home Helpers® Home Care of Burlington WI, have announced the acquisition of the Home Helpers® Home Care of Greater Milwaukee location, officially finalized in late 2025. This expansion extends their service area beyond Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties into Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties.
After seeing their own grandparents’ needs, the Nelsons launched Home Helpers Home Care of Burlington 18 years ago with a mission to deliver high-quality, compassionate in-home care to seniors and families across southeastern Wisconsin. Over nearly two decades, they have grown into one of the region’s most trusted home care providers, now employing over 160 caregivers.
The Greater Milwaukee/Ozaukee Home Helpers location was previously owned by Tim Bireley, who recently retired. The Nelsons assumed ownership with a commitment to ensuring continuity of care and a smooth transition for both clients and caregivers.
“We are honored to continue serving families in the Greater Milwaukee and Ozaukee communities,” said Aaron Nelson. “Our focus has always been on delivering dependable, compassionate care that allows individuals to remain safe and independent in their homes. We look forward to building strong relationships in Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties and continuing to grow in 2026.”
The Nelson’s Home Helpers Burlington office has been consistently recognized as both an Employer of Choice and Provider of Choice by Activated Insights. These awards are based on real feedback gathered through live telephone interviews with clients and caregivers. The recognition reflects genuine satisfaction ratings and highlights the organization’s commitment to both quality care and caregiver support.
Home Helpers® Home Care provides a wide range of services, including personal care, companion care, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, respite care, and other customized in-home support services. The expansion strengthens the company’s regional footprint while maintaining its locally owned and operated approach.
