Originally from Philadelphia, he relocated to Cleveland and is proudly raising his three wonderful children. During his time with Johnson & Johnson, he attended Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program. Jeffrey spent most of his career working in the operating room, often interacting directly with clients, families, and care providers. Throughout his tenure, he has always upheld core values that contribute to his success: he treats every interaction as if it is a family member and he always prioritizes service. You take care of your clients, you take care of your team, and you focus on providing the best care possible. Jeffrey is rooted in strong family values and is dedicated to bringing these same principles to his clients at Home Helpers.
With over 35 years of experience in the medical field, Shelley brings unmatched expertise and heart to her role as Director of Development at Home Helpers of Mentor. Her impressive background includes key roles at University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic, as well as serving as President of her family-owned Home Helpers agency. After selling the business and enjoying a brief retirement, Shelley returned to the field she loves—because caregiving is truly in her heart. Renowned for treating every client like family, she leads with compassion, unwavering dedication, and a profound commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Melissa showcases a profound passion for caregiving and strong operational expertise as the Director of Operations at Home Helpers. Her career began as an Office Coordinator at University Hospitals and Tender Hearts Assisted Caregiving, eventually leading to part ownership of a family-operated Home Helpers. After selling the business, she rejoined the organization in a leadership position, where she passionately manages daily operations. Currently pursuing her Registered Nursing License, Melissa aims to enhance her caregiving skills. Known for her family-oriented approach and dedication to quality, she consistently goes above and beyond for clients and staff, inspiring everyone around her.
With 26 years in healthcare, Sarah Bartlett excels as a Staffing Coordinator, focusing on nurturing strong client relationships. Over 40 years at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, she embraced various nursing roles, dedicating 25 years to the OR, showcasing her resilience and adaptability. Alongside her nursing career, she has worked part-time with Home Helpers for the last decade. A proud mother of twin boys and a daughter, Dina enjoys life in Concord Township with her husband, John, and their two beloved dogs.
Kathy has been a registered nurse for 34 years. She began her career at Metro on the surgical trauma floor before spending the last 33 years at the Cleveland Clinic, primarily working in the operating room. Currently, she works full-time in Pre-Testing as well as with Home Helpers. Kathy lives in with her husband, and they are fortunate to have two wonderful grown daughters. Their lives are enriched by the presence of two dogs, who keep them busy and bring laughter every day. Kathy’s dedication to her family and profession makes her life fulfilling and joyful.
Chrysan is a dedicated Registered Nurse with extensive experience and a passion for patient care. Previously serving as an Intensive Care Charge Nurse, she has cultivated strong skills in critical care, patient advocacy, and team leadership. Her commitment to nursing has greatly influenced her professional journey. In addition to her nursing career, Chrysan treasures spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, embracing the joys of family life. Jody has been a nurse for 32 years and continues to love her work every day. As the lead nurse at ARMC Express Care in Ashtabula, she has dedicated several years to her full-time role while also working part-time with Home Helpers. Residing in Jefferson with her husband, they are proud parents of four grown children and are anticipating the arrival of their second grandchild. Nursing has always been her calling, and Jody takes great pride in making a difference both in the clinic and in the homes of the patients she serves.
