I’m Emily Ring, the local owner and operator of this Home Helpers Home Care franchise. My team and I specialize in providing comprehensive home care for seniors, new mothers and individuals needing recuperative and continuing assistance. We also offer Direct Link®, our proprietary line of 24/7 medical alert systems, including a fall sensor with GPS locator and an automated medication dispenser.
As I was looking to open my own business, I saw the need for a high-quality in-home care business like Home Helpers in this area. I have a mother in her 80’s now and I was a single mom on bedrest, so I understand the importance of having dependable, compassionate caregivers you can trust. I also understand how frustrating it can be when you can’t do all the things you used to do. Home Helpers has a long history of top-notch service and I’m excited that I can bring that experience to this area.
I built my career as a Marketing and Contracts Director in the oil and gas industry, which gave me experience in account and client management, team building, sales, operations and business management. I earned an undergraduate degree in health and human services and went on to graduate with a Master’s degree in Management from Bellevue University.
Home Helpers offers free in-home consultations and works with each client to create a flexible, affordable care plan based on a person’s individual needs. Services offered include basic grooming, bathing, ambulation, medication management and care management as well as respite care, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, companionship and transportation. My compassionate caregivers offer services around the Houston area including: The Memorial Villages (Bunker Hill, Piney Point, Hedwig, Hunters Creek, Spring Valley, Hillshire, Spring Branch), Up Town, Afton Oaks, River Oaks, West University and Bellaire.
We have an aging population, not just in this area, but around the country – my own mom included. When I think about the needs she and her peers are going to have in the future, I can see the true value of Home Helpers.
