Meet Our Team

Becky joined our care team in 2014 and served as a caregiver . Over the years she has been involved with many aspects of the company. Becky currently assist in after hours On Call Management to help out our clients and caregivers. She can help schedule or change schedules for you after the office is closed.

Rhyan joined our team in 2014 and is an integral part of our office staff. He specializes in Long Term Care and also assist in the administrative operations of the office including billing and payroll.

The owners Carl and Jody Amspaugh are both natives to Fairfield County and Lancaster and currently reside in Pickaway County. Jody is a longstanding employee of Home Helpers, starting as a caregiver in 2010, and shortly thereafter taking on the role as the Community Relations Coordinator responsible for the marketing and public liaison affairs for Home Helpers. Carl was born and raised in Lancaster and obtained his business degree from Ohio University-Lancaster. He brings over 23 years of business management experience and leadership to Home Helpers Carl and Jody have been married for 28 years and have 3 grown children and one son-in-law  and one daughter -in-law and one granddaughter.

Home Helpers of Lancaster continues to be an active participant in local community and commerce. Most recently they partnered with many other local business and sponsors to lead the Lancaster-Fairfield County Lancaster Longest Day for Alzheimer’s Awareness fundraiser. Home Helpers was nominated for Lancaster-Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce’s Large Business of the Year award in 2016 and was recently named the 2017 Business of the Year by the Canal Winchester Chamber of Commerce Jody was also the recipient of the Canal Chamber’s President’s Award in 2015 for her outstanding dedication and involvement in support of the community. Home Helpers has also been awarded the honors of Leader in Excellence, Provider of Choice, and Employer of Choice by Home Care Pulse. Presently Home Helpers of Lancaster served Fairfield, Hocking, Pickaway, & Perry , Ross,Pike , Highland and Fayette counties and their offices are located at 616 E. Main Street in Lancaster.

Dawn joined our team in 2016  as a caregiver. Presently she is one of our On Call Managers handling after hours operations. Dawn helps train the new caregivers on policy and helps with after hours scheduling.

Tiffany joined our team in 2018 and is in charge of scheduling our clients and caregivers. She came to us with years of experience as a caregiver and as a scheduling manager.

Nicole joined our Care Team in 2023 as a Human Resources Coordinator. She supports our current employees HR needs. Nicole actively recruits applicants and works with our area employment partners.  She is an important member of the care team.
