ASSISTANCE WITH ACCESS TO BENEFITS THROUGH THE VA AID AND ATTENDANCE PROGRAM

The Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension is a veteran’s pension benefit and is not dependent upon service-related injuries for payment. This benefit reduces the cost of care for veterans and surviving spouses who need the service of another person to assist with activities of daily living.

Two sources that help families determine eligibility, apply, and get approval for benefits through the VA Aid and Attendance Program.

AidandAttendance.com has a quick questionnaire to help you determine if you or your family member qualifies for benefits through the Aid and Attendance program. They also offer a membership program for Veterans, Surviving Spouses and their families that provides applicants an easy way to complete lengthy and often confusing paperwork that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires to apply for the Aid and Attendance benefit.
