I serve as the Care Manager at Home Helpers Home Care of Gainesville-Manassas. My goal is to make sure our clients and their families are being treated with dignity, respect and receiving the care they deserve.
I have over 10 years of experience in social work, management and customer service. I earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from George Mason University. Since then, I have worked in Adult Protective Services and as a domestic violence victim advocate where I cultivated skills to serve vulnerable individuals in the community. I have spent years advocating for elderly and disabled adults to ensure their safety, well-being and dignity, and empowering survivors of domestic violence.
Beyond my direct social work roles, I have also worked in customer service and management, demonstrating my capacity to lead teams, streamline processes and deliver exceptional services to clients and their families.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two little boys, and our English lab.
Leeana Johnson serves as the Office Manager at Home Helpers Home Care. With a background in public health, digital media, and office management, Leeana brings a variety of skills to our team.
In her role, Leeana oversees administrative functions, supports marketing initiatives, and fosters a supportive work environment. Her expertise in digital marketing enhances our brand’s presence and engagement across various platforms, ensuring our services reach those in need.
Leeana holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health & Microbiology from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Certificate in Management from Vanguard Management Solutions. She is also certified in Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel – X-Ray (IRSSPXRAY), CPR & AED, and Child Abuse & Neglect Training.

I’ve spent my entire career serving other – in both the United States Army and in the private sector – and I’m pleased to bring that passion for service to Home Helpers Home Care.
I’m Dr. David L. Johnson and, as a veteran and having worked for the U.S. Army Wounded Warrior (AW2) Program under the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), I helped advocate for veterans transitioning back home, recovering from injuries or living with disabilities.
My team offers the industry’s leading model for comprehensive care with its unique care program, Cared-4sm, which provides the four necessary components to living independently. This includes Personal Care and COmpanionship, Nutrition and Meal Planning, 24/7Emergency Response, and Wellness Call to help ensure medications and hydration are maintained.

I’m an Alabama native and retired U.S. Army Colonel. I enlisted in the Reserve Component and completed my Basic Training and Advanced Training as a Cannon Crewman at Fort Still, Oklahoma in 1986. I obtained my commission in the Logistics Corp through the Auburn University ROTC Battalion in 1989. I’ve had the opportunity to work at the highest levels of the Department of Defense as a military officer and Federal Government civilian, including in both capacities for HQDA-G4/5/7, Strategic Plans, and Force Inegration; HQDA G-3/5/7 DAMO-SOC.
My military education includes the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, the Transportation Officer Basic Course, the Command Logistics Officer Advanced Course (CLOAC), the Command and General Staff College (GSCE), and the Joint Combined War-fighter School (JCWS) in Norfolk, Virginia. In the private business sector, I worked for the EXCHANGE – Army and Airforce Exchange Service in several primary leadership positions in the United States and Overseas. I was also a Senior Analyst for Corvus-Castellum Consulting, LLC for the Department of Defense in Cyber Security.
I am a graduate of Walden University, Doctor of Business Administration, Leadership, College of Management and Technology; Capella University, Master of Business Administration and Technology; Amber University, Master of Business Administration in Management; and Auburn University of Montgomery School of Business Administration.
I’m looking forward to combing that experience, my passion for helping fellow veterans and the Home Helpers system to make a big difference for veterans and families here in my community. My team and I work in Bristow, Catharpin, Dumfries, Gainesville, Haymarket, Manassas, Triangle, Woodbridge, and the surrounding communities. We can’t wait to meet you!
Cindy serves as Account Manager at Home Helpers Home Care for Gainesville-Manassas. She brings a variety of skills to our team.
In her role, Cindy oversees accounting receivables and payables, payroll, purchases, and services. She also supports administrative functions. Her expertise as a daycare director includes supervising all staff members, orientation, and annual performance reviews, developing a budget for the center, establishing controls to ensure that the center adheres to the budget, and ensuring the funds are appropriately managed.
Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, Leeana and Logan, and her son-in-law, LaMonne. She also enjoys swimming in the beautiful beaches of Guam, U.S.A.
