Compassionate Home Care in Fredericksburg, VA

Choosing someone to care for a person you love is about more than finding help. It is about finding someone you can trust.

At Home Helpers Home Care of Fredericksburg, we help seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities live safely, independently, and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Our approach combines compassionate caregiving with disciplined operational excellence, accountability, and a genuine commitment to the families we serve.

Local Leadership. A Personal Commitment to Care.

Home Helpers Home Care of Fredericksburg is locally owned and led by U.S. Army veteran Dave Saty Yond. After more than two decades of military service and a professional career spanning leadership, cybersecurity, healthcare operations, and entrepreneurship, Dave founded the agency around a simple principle: care is not just a service—it is a responsibility.

As a survivor of the Liberian civil war, Dave’s life has also been shaped by resilience, compassion, and the importance of community. Those experiences influence how our agency approaches care today—with respect for every individual’s story, independence, and dignity.

Care Families Can Depend On

Whether your family needs personal care, companion care, respite support, dementia care, recovery assistance, or help navigating the changing needs of someone you love, our goal is to provide dependable support tailored to the individual.

As part of the nationally recognized Home Helpers® family, our locally owned Fredericksburg agency combines the resources and experience of an established home care organization with the personal attention and accountability of local leadership.

Your family deserves more than assistance. You deserve a care partner you can trust.

Cared-4℠: A Whole-Person Approach to Home Care

At Home Helpers Home Care of Fredericksburg, we believe exceptional care means supporting the whole person—not simply completing a list of tasks. Our Cared-4℠ approach helps us focus on the physical, emotional, nutritional, and social needs that contribute to safety, independence, and quality of life at home.

Physical Wellness

As needs change, everyday activities can become more difficult. We provide personalized support with personal care, mobility, medication reminders, recovery assistance, and other daily routines to help clients remain safer and more comfortable at home.

Mental Well-Being

Emotional well-being matters. Our caregivers provide companionship, conversation, encouragement, and meaningful engagement to help reduce isolation and support each client’s sense of purpose, dignity, and independence.

Nutrition & Hydration

Proper nutrition and hydration are important parts of maintaining health and independence. We can assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and daily routines that encourage healthy eating and adequate hydration.

Active Connections

Meaningful relationships help make life fulfilling. Through companionship, social engagement, wellness calls, technology, and connection with family and community, we help clients remain engaged with the people and activities that matter to them.

Our goal is simple: provide dependable, compassionate care that helps make life easier while giving families greater peace of mind.
