Ryan Sherman is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with over 30 years of professional experience. His journey into the home care industry was deeply inspired by personal experiences caring for family members battling Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, heart disease, and other age-related challenges. These moments of caregiving gave Ryan firsthand insight into the emotional and physical toll that health challenges can bring to families, sparking a passion to make a meaningful difference in others’ lives.

Post COVID-19, Ryan and his wife, Dr. Cherrie Sherman, relocated to South Florida (from NYC) with a vision to bring compassionate, high-quality in-home care to their community. Together, they lead the Home Helpers Home Care of Boca Raton Team, serving families in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and all of Palm Beach & Broward Counties.

Ryan’s extensive experience in business management and leadership has been instrumental in creating a care model focused on outstanding outcomes for clients. He believes deeply in fostering a culture that prioritizes employees’ well-being, recognizing that a happy, empowered team delivers the best care to clients.

Dr. Cherrie Sherman is a dedicated scientist with over a decade of experience advancing biomedical research and developing therapeutic solutions for complex diseases. Her groundbreaking collaborative work spans peptide inhibitors for autoimmune diseases, the role of the microbiome in colorectal cancer development, and gene therapy and cell-free therapeutics for cardiac regeneration to restore heart function in individuals who have experienced heart attacks. Her contributions exemplify a steadfast commitment to improving health outcomes and pushing the boundaries of medical science.

As a scientist and former biomedical science professor, Dr. Sherman has mentored and inspired the next generation of researchers, fostering a legacy of curiosity, excellence, and impactful innovation.

Outside her professional achievements, Dr. Sherman is an avid traveler who has visited over 200 destinations across 60 countries. Born in Manila, Philippines, she grew up embracing the Filipino value of bayanihan—a tradition of helping one another and treating each other as family. This cultural principle aligns seamlessly with the vision and mission of Home Helpers Home Care, where she and her husband lead a team dedicated to treating clients like family, stepping in with compassionate care when their loved ones cannot be there. She is a British citizen currently residing in the United States, bringing a rich multicultural perspective to her work and community engagements.

Together, they provide in-home care services to families across Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and all of Palm Beach & Broward Counties. This venture highlights her unwavering commitment to improving lives by fostering a sense of family and community in every aspect of care.
