I have been a client for about 2.5 years, and have found the Home Helpers staff to be kind, professional, and cheerful. They work hard to put my needs first. As an example, my caregiver was ill for a couple of weeks, but still made sure I had everything I needed. They are flexible in scheduling. Their high level of experience, their caring, patience and supportiveness, always positive and upbeat demeanor and tone, professionalism while becoming friends and teachers to the family, and the quick responsiveness and regular communication from the scheduler, leads, trainers and owner when we have questions or concerns has been top notch, comforting, and successful at resolving any concerns quickly and effectively. We at first went through the typical initial process of trying a few caregivers until we found the best matches in experience and style for our household, family and care needs, and have settled with a set of people for our 24/7 home help who well match our client patient’s always changing care needs, and whom we and he adore.

I would in particular like to mention Paula and Claire who have worked so diligently, responsively, quickly and successfully to find the right people for our (frequently changing) needs; our current primary overnight caregivers Marla and Crystal who have been such great assets and Lurlene our primary daytime caregiver who does all so well. These three are my best teachers and support as well as being miracle workers in getting our sometimes difficult client patient to do the things he needs to do while cheering him up too.

Near the end of the time my Dad had pancreatic cancer, we brought him home from a rehab facility to start on Hospice at home. Home Helpers had a wonderful caregiver named Cheryl meet us at the house when Dad arrived with transport service. They were with me every step of the way, trying to help keep Dad as comfortable as possible, while managing the overall situation. When someone is home on Hospice, a lot of laundry is generated, which is one of the many things Home Helpers helps with!

I don’t believe we would have gotten through this without the invaluable help Home Helpers Home Care provided. They made the documents easy to sign, were interested in feedback about their service, and truly seemed to care for my Dad and our family. I would recommend Home Helpers to anyone who asks without hesitation!

We needed immediate but temporary home care due to mobility difficulties. My husband has mobility issues but I have been helping him and doing meal prep, laundry, bills and related. Suddenly and with no warning my mobility was challenged. We were able to get in-home help in 1 day. The care givers were fantastic! Both offered us caring attitudes, great conversation when we wanted socializing, creative thinking and excellent carrying out of their activities. Both Shanteye and Karen offered competent services for us including meal prep, laundry and such simple things as getting the mail from the mailbox and emptying waste baskets. Because we may need their services in the future I discovered that they also are trained to do bed baths, help with dressing and similar physical health-related activities but they don’t give medications or do other “professional” health care. My husband and I highly recommend Home Helpers.

Home Helpers go above and beyond for me. The staff is outstanding. Claire, Paula, and Shanell are wonderful to me and the veterans. They make us feel valued and supported. I highly recommend Home Helpers to all my friends!

I have never had anybody do anything like Sandra does for me before. We really get along, and she listens to me and is very tolerant. I did not really understand how much was going to be done for me. I appreciate everything that is done for me. Home Helpers connection with the office is good. I call, and they are prompt and congenial. I know I am lucky to have Home Helpers.

It was so nice to have the caregivers there. The main caregiver, Carol, would interact with my mother the whole time and made sure she had everything that she needed. I would like to give credit to the owner Chris Gerardi because the agency is doing such a great job.
