At Home Helpers Home Care Delaware, Ohio, we are honored to be a proud Community Care Network provider, helping local veterans receive the compassionate in-home support they deserve.
Through the VA Community Care Network, eligible veterans may qualify for valuable in-home services such as:
- Homemaker Services
- Home Health Aide Care
- Respite Care for Family Caregivers
These services are designed to help veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.
Who May Be Eligible?
Veterans may qualify if they are:
- Enrolled in VA health care
- Referred by a Veterans Service Coordinator
- Former military, naval, or air service members separated under any condition other than dishonorable
- Current or former Reserve or National Guard members who were called to active federal duty and completed their full service period
In most cases, veterans must have served 24 continuous months or the full period for which they were called to active duty.
Exceptions may apply for hardship discharge or early release.
If you are not currently enrolled in VA health care, the first step is to determine eligibility through the VA.

What Services Are Available?
Veterans approved for care may receive support ranging from 6 to 16 hours per week, depending on their needs and VA authorization.
In some situations, services may be extended up to 24 hours per day.
Our caregivers can assist with:
- Personal care and hygiene
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Companionship
- Respite support for family caregivers
