"Damey and Brian, I just wanted you to know how thankful I am and how much I appreciate your company. I've had a large share of awful agencies and their caregivers (I could write a book about all my horrible experiences unfortunately) I had a high amount of stress added on to the stressors I already had due to my condition. Then by the grace of God, I ended up with your company! I know staffing all of my hours hasn't been easy but I've not once worried about not having a caregiver like I used to. On the very rare occasion that you have been unable to find someone to work, I haven't worried about not having a caregiver for the next day (or days as I have gone without before) because I know 100% that youre doing/will do everything you possibly can to make sure the next shift is filled. I know when I wanted to take Maccoy off my schedule it was hard for you guys (and very stressful - I truly apologize for that!!) But you worked it out and quickly filled my schedule. (with 2 very amazing caregivers btw!) I often get asked about my experiences with aides and I have a lot of ugly stories to share but I also tell them that was up until I got Home Helpers. I tell everyone that your company is like a breathe of fresh air!! Your caregivers are all quality and caring. You both are so down to earth and I feel like you truly care about me and my overall well being. There are no words to describe what it's like to not have to be on edge every single day and have to worry about if I'm going to have someone to help me that day, if someone is going to have a problem with feeding my cats or putting food on a plate for my kids (and many many other things) and report it to the company, putting me in jeopardy of losing the care I so desperately need. You and your company has allowed me to live the life I have been given with happiness and ease and for that I am so grateful."
