Meet Our New Community Liaison: Daphne Cardona

We’re very pleased to announce that Daphne Cardona has recently transitioned to the role of Community Liaison. Daphne previously worked in our business office as a Care Coordinator prior to accepting her new position. As Community Liason, her primary responsibility will be developing and maintaining relationships/partnerships within the community and promoting the agency’s services.

Daphne Cardona, Community Liaison

Daphne Cardona is a Community Liaison at Home Helpers whose main responsibility is developing and maintaining relationships/partnerships within the community and promoting the agency’s services.

Daphne previously owned a marketing business that specialized in photography, graphic design, and social media design/marketing & management for new small business owners. She is also well-versed in senior care, being a licensed certified nursing assistant and having over ten years of experience in assisted living facilities, private care, and nursing homes where she served as an Activity Director. She also cared for her aging grandparents with dementia and Alzheimer’s. At Home Helpers, she worked for a year as a Care Coordinator in our business office prior to accepting the position as a Community Liaison. Her positive attitude, compassionate nature, and organizational skills make Daphne an important asset to Home Helpers of Bradenton.

Originally from Alabama, Daphne has two adult children, both a daughter and a special-needs son. Also, as part of her family, she has Tapainga, an emotional support dog who accompanies her to nursing homes as well as a cat named Millie. Daphne loves singing, sewing, crafting, repurposing furniture, gardening, and above everything, spending time with her family.
