People who need a caregiver, especially seniors, need more than a warm body to be sent to their homes. At Home Helpers, we are focused on matching our clients with compassionate, well-trained caregivers who are dedicated to building personal connections and making sure people continue to do the things that make them happy – social groups, lunch with friends, cooking, and whatever else puts a smile on their face.
I’m Matt Craft, the owner of Home Helpers Home Care of Bethesda, and it’s that approach to care that got me excited to launch this business. At Home Helpers Home Care, we offer the industry’s leading model for comprehensive care with its unique care program, Cared-4SM, which ensures clients receive comprehensive care in four key areas: Personal Care and Companionship, Nutrition and Meal Planning, 24/7 Emergency Response, and Wellness Calls.
I grew up in the Washington D.C. area and spent the last 20 years of my career in small business strategy consulting, where I had the opportunity to work with the senior living industry. That experience taught me about the demographics, the needs of seniors and families, and how in-home care plays an increasing part in meeting those needs.
Home Helpers allows me to serve families in my area by using that experience and my passion for being a problem solver. Each client we work with has a unique set of needs and we’re able to customize a plan that meets those needs. We’re not just here to send a warm body into someone’s home – we want to create a holistic plan that helps them to live independently for as long as possible.
My team works with clients throughout Bethesda, Kensington, Chevy Chase, Cabin John, Silver Spring, Aspen Hill, Layhill, Garrett Park and the surrounding areas. My team and I look forward to meeting you!
